How to use the Rougher tool

When using the Rougher Tool you should hold the tool at a 45 degree angle. The tool should not be ran with the grooves but at a 45 degree angle over top of them. Using this tool will not damage or make the grooves dull. Please check out the picture below to help you understand what directions you should be going when using the tool. The red lines are the direction you should be going when using the Rougher Tool. If you click on the picture you can see that the face looks very gritty. This is an old Titleist Vokey wedge that is being pictured.
